Dividend Distribution 2021 of Resource Alam Indonesia (IDX: KKGI)

PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk. (IDX: KKGI), one of the coal companies in Indonesia will distribute its retained earnings as dividends. The dividend distribution has been approved on the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on (AGMS) held in Jakarta on 5 August 2021.

Although in 2020 the company recorded a net loss of USD7.32 million, the AGMS has agreed to distribute the Company's accumulated retained earnings as dividends. from its USD107.226 million (equivalent to IDR1.51 trillion) accumulated retained earnings, the Company will distribute IDR30 million of them as cash dividends. Therefore, every shareholder will receive a dividend of IDR5.5 per share.

The schedule for dividends' distribution are as follows:

1. Cum dividend for regular and negotiation market: 16 August 2021;
2. Ex-dividend date for regular and negotiation market: 18 August 2021;
3. Cum dividend for regular and negotiation market: 19 August 2021;
4. Ex-dividend date for regular and negotiation market: 20 August 2021;
5. Recording date for those entitled to the dividend: 19 August 2021; and
6. Dividend payment date: 24 August 2021.

During the first quartal of 2021, the Company recorded a net income of USD1.97 million, compared to a net loss of USD3.62 million yoy. At the opening trade session today, 10 August 2021, KKGI was traded at a level IDR250 per share. Therefore the dividend yield of KKGI is 2.2%.
